Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for all assigned artists, building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.
- Act as an internal advocate for artists, ensuring their needs and concerns are communicated effectively to relevant departments.
- Coordinate and manage artist schedules, including recording sessions, promotional appearances, interviews, photoshoots, and live performances.
- Collaborate closely with A&R on artist development, talent scouting, and project management.
- Work with marketing and publicity teams to develop and execute comprehensive release campaigns and promotional strategies.
- Assist artists with contractual understanding, royalty statements, and financial inquiries, liaising with legal and finance departments.
- Monitor artist activity, press, social media, and industry trends to provide insights and strategic advice.
- Facilitate communication between artists and third-party partners (e.g., booking agents, managers, publicists).
- Resolve artist-related issues and challenges promptly and professionally, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Represent Career.zycto and its artists at industry events, concerts, and conferences.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in artist relations, talent management, or a similar role within the music industry (record label, management company, booking agency).
- Profound understanding of the music industry ecosystem, including A&R, marketing, distribution, and legal aspects.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken) is essential, given the location.
- Deep passion for music across various genres and a genuine interest in artist development.
