Job Description

This critical role calls for an experienced and visionary Director of Learning & Development to lead the strategic design, implementation, and evaluation of all learning initiatives across Career.zycto. You will be instrumental in cultivating a high-performance culture by ensuring our employees possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles and contribute to our overarching business objectives. This isn’t just about delivering training; it’s about pioneering a holistic learning ecosystem that fosters growth, innovation, and career progression at every level of the organization.

As a strategic partner, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify current and future skill gaps, translating business strategies into effective learning programs. Your expertise will guide the development of bespoke curricula, leveraging a blend of innovative methodologies including digital learning platforms, experiential workshops, mentorship programs, and leadership development initiatives. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, regularly assessing program effectiveness, and adapting strategies based on feedback, technological advancements, and evolving industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with Career.zycto’s business objectives and talent strategy.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and soft skills enhancement.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and future learning requirements across all departments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of all L&D initiatives using appropriate metrics and feedback mechanisms, reporting on ROI and impact.
  • Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a dedicated L&D team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Implement and optimize learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and senior management to integrate L&D programs with broader talent management strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and organizational development.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a senior Learning & Development leadership role, preferably as a Director or Head of L&D.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and modern learning technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic L&D initiatives that drive business results.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in managing L&D budgets and resources effectively.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning content development tools.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and influence without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Certification in coaching, psychometric assessment, or a related L&D methodology.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or rapidly growing organization.
  • Familiarity with talent management software beyond basic LMS functionality.
