As a Digital Streaming Analyst, you will dive deep into performance metrics from major DSPs (Digital Service Providers) like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube. Your daily tasks will involve more than just pulling numbers; you’ll be interpreting complex datasets to provide actionable insights on audience engagement, consumption patterns, playlist performance, and marketing effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze streaming data from major DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, etc.) to identify performance trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards on key streaming metrics for internal stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable insights on audience engagement, consumption patterns, playlisting, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor content distribution and metadata accuracy across platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, A&R, and sales teams to inform digital strategy and optimize content performance.
  • Identify emerging trends in digital music consumption and recommend strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Assist in troubleshooting streaming-related issues and ensuring data integrity.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the music, entertainment, or digital media industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Solid understanding of digital music streaming platforms and their analytics interfaces.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives.
