Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly, provide information about current exhibitions, artists, and gallery programs.
- Assist with ticket sales, memberships, and gift shop transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Monitor gallery spaces to ensure the safety of artwork and maintain a pleasant, orderly environment for visitors.
- Provide basic interpretive information about artworks and artists, enhancing visitor understanding and appreciation.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of exhibitions, including handling and positioning artwork under supervision.
- Support gallery events, workshops, and educational programs as needed, including registration and logistical help.
- Handle visitor inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Perform light administrative duties, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining visitor logs.
- Ensure gallery literature, such as brochures and exhibition guides, are well-stocked and accessible.
- Collaborate with other gallery staff to ensure seamless daily operations and a positive visitor experience.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Fluency in English and German (B2 level or higher)
- Excellent customer service orientation and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, POS systems)
Preferred Qualifications
