Chapwani Private Island Resort is seeking a dedicated Laundry Shop Customer Clerk to join our dynamic team in the Bawe Beach Area. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, assisting them with their laundry service needs.
- Accurately receive, tag, and log guest laundry items, noting any special instructions or damages.
- Process payments for laundry services and handle cash/card transactions with integrity.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to resort standards and guest preferences.
- Ensure timely return of cleaned and pressed garments to guests, maintaining clear communication on delivery schedules.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry shop and customer service area.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies and report needs to management.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback regarding laundry services courteously and effectively.
- Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless guest service.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the laundry operation.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within hospitality or retail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Basic mathematical skills for processing payments and managing inventory.
