As a Delivery Rider, you will be a crucial link in our logistics chain, ensuring timely and safe delivery of packages, food, and other goods to our valued customers across Parklands and the wider Nairobi area. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver a variety of goods, including packages, documents, and food, to designated locations within Parklands and surrounding Nairobi areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the secure transportation of goods and personal safety.
- Verify order details and ensure accurate delivery to the correct recipients.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, Sendy support, and vendors.
- Handle payments and complete necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
- Utilize the Sendy rider app efficiently for accepting orders, navigating routes, and managing deliveries.
- Ensure the cleanliness and good working condition of your delivery vehicle (motorcycle or bicycle).
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive and courteous attitude at all times.
- Report any delivery issues, delays, or challenges to Sendy support immediately.
Required Skills
- Valid motorcycle riding license (for motorcycle riders) or proficiency in cycling (for bicycle riders).
- Excellent knowledge of Nairobi routes, especially Parklands and surrounding areas.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to use a smartphone and navigate through delivery applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and punctuality.
- Customer-centric mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery rider or in a similar logistics role.
- Possession of a well-maintained motorcycle or bicycle suitable for deliveries.
