Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and facilitating new employee orientation.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Serve as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries from employees, providing timely and accurate information or directing them to appropriate resources.
- Assist with the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company values and legal requirements.
- Support the performance management process, including tracking performance reviews and assisting with related documentation.
- Coordinate HR-related projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, training programs, and wellness activities.
- Process HR-related paperwork, including employment verifications, leave requests, and employee changes.
- Generate HR reports and analytics as needed to support decision-making and compliance efforts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations in the UK.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law (UK specific preferred).
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to task management.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
