As a Logistics & Delivery Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced delivery drivers, assisting with the loading and unloading of various packages, verifying delivery manifest details, and providing crucial support during routing and navigation. You will also serve as a vital link in maintaining excellent customer service, interacting professionally with recipients and resolving minor delivery queries on the spot, always upholding Sendy’s commitment to exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of packages, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Verify delivery manifests against physical packages to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Provide navigational assistance to drivers, utilizing knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns to optimize delivery times.
- Interact professionally with customers upon delivery, verifying receipt, and assisting with basic inquiries or minor issue resolution.
- Support pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring cleanliness and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Organize and maintain the delivery vehicle’s interior, ensuring all tools and supplies are in order.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transit and delivery operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery progress, challenges, or delays.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift and carry packages (up to 25 kg).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Basic understanding of Nairobi's geography and road networks, especially Pipeline and surrounding areas.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with using GPS and navigation apps.
- Secondary education certificate (KCSE or equivalent).
