Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely to clean all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Sort and stack clean dishes; return them to appropriate storage areas or service stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, dish machines, and surrounding floors.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks when required, under the supervision of kitchen staff.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately, maintaining cleanliness of waste receptacles.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks, including receiving and storing supplies.
- Monitor dish machine temperatures to ensure proper sanitization levels.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs for kitchen equipment to management.
- Ensure all kitchen support areas are clean, tidy, and ready for the next shift.
Required Skills
