Palm Tree Lodge Chiredzi is seeking a dynamic and imaginative Part-Time Social Media Content Creator to elevate our online presence and connect with a broader audience. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, produce, and edit high-quality visual content (photos, short videos) capturing the lodge's facilities, guest experiences, and surrounding natural beauty.
  • Craft engaging and SEO-friendly captions, blog posts, and social media copy that reflects the brand's voice and encourages interaction.
  • Manage and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent and timely posting schedule across all relevant social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X).
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and platform updates to inform and adapt content strategy.
  • Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages, fostering a positive brand image.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for content optimization and strategy improvement.
  • Collaborate with the lodge management to align content with promotional campaigns and overall marketing objectives.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in social media content creation and management.
  • Exceptional photography and videography skills, with proficiency in relevant editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, InShot, Canva).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English.
  • Deep understanding of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for audience engagement.
  • Demonstrated creativity, a keen eye for aesthetics, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with flexible hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or tourism industry.
