Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, nurture, and maintain robust, long-term relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, understanding their unique financial needs and aspirations.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis, risk assessments, and cash flow projections to create personalised financial roadmaps.
  • Design and implement bespoke financial plans covering investment strategies, retirement planning, tax optimisation, and estate planning in line with client goals.
  • Proactively monitor client portfolios, executing necessary adjustments and rebalancing to ensure alignment with financial objectives and market conditions.
  • Provide expert, impartial advice on a wide spectrum of financial products, services, and market opportunities.
  • Stay continuously informed on global and local market trends, economic indicators, regulatory changes (e.g., FCA), and new financial instruments.
  • Prepare and present clear, compelling, and compliant financial reports and recommendations to clients.
  • Ensure all advice, transactions, and client interactions adhere strictly to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Actively participate in business development and networking initiatives to expand the client base and firm's presence.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or a directly related client-facing financial role.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, both written and verbal, for sophisticated client communication and documentation.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to solve complex financial challenges.
  • Profound knowledge of investment products (equities, bonds, funds, alternatives), market dynamics, and holistic financial planning principles.
  • Superior ability to build rapport, trust, and long-lasting relationships with a diverse client base.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard financial planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to financial services in the UK (e.g., FCA regulations).
  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Achieved or actively working towards professional certifications such as CFA, CISI Level 4 (Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning), or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • Experience in advising high-net-worth individuals and managing complex multi-generational wealth situations.
  • A verifiable track record of successful client acquisition, retention, and growth of assets under management (AUM).
