In this critical full-time position, you will be instrumental in guiding Career.zycto’s financial health and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will span from managing the month-end and year-end close processes to preparing accurate and timely financial statements. You will be tasked with developing and maintaining robust internal controls, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and safeguarding the company’s assets. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cost Accounting.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for annual audits.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
Required Skills
- CPA or CMA certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven working experience as a Controller or similar senior accounting role (minimum 7 years).
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including GAAP.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience in a rapidly growing company environment.
- Familiarity with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Experience within the Human Resources or Professional Services industry.
