As an entry-level Pipefitter in our training program, you will work alongside seasoned professionals, learning best practices in safety, precision, and craftsmanship. Your daily activities will involve understanding blueprints, cutting and threading pipes, assembling and installing various piping components, and conducting pressure tests to ensure system integrity. You will gain invaluable experience with a wide range of materials, including copper, steel, PVC, and PEX, and learn to work on systems for water, steam, hydraulic, and even HVAC applications. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all aspects of the structured pipefitting training program.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Assist experienced pipefitters in cutting, threading, bending, and assembling pipes.
- Familiarize yourself with various pipe materials and fitting types.
- Observe and learn proper installation techniques for different piping systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently.
- Help prepare work sites and clean up tools and materials after tasks are completed.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Demonstrate a continuous willingness to learn and improve skills.
