Key Responsibilities

  • Serve legal documents (summonses, subpoenas, complaints, etc.) to individuals and businesses in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform diligent attempts to serve documents, exercising professionalism and discretion in all interactions.
  • Accurately complete affidavits of service, proofs of service, and other required documentation, ensuring all details are precise and legally compliant.
  • Maintain meticulous records of service attempts, successful deliveries, and communications.
  • Manage and organize assigned cases efficiently, planning routes and schedules to optimize time and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, legal professionals, and internal team members regarding service status and challenges.
  • Adhere strictly to all privacy and confidentiality protocols related to legal documents and individuals.
  • Utilize tracking and reporting software to update case statuses in real-time.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and represent Career.zycto with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver's License and a reliable vehicle with insurance.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and smartphone use for navigation and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Process Server or in a related field (e.g., courier, private investigation, law enforcement).
  • Familiarity with British Columbia legal procedures and court systems.
  • Post-secondary education in legal studies, criminology, or a related field.
