As our SEO Specialist, you will be instrumental in elevating the online visibility and search engine rankings of our diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. Your primary mission will be to drive organic traffic, improve brand authority, and ultimately contribute to our clients’ business growth through expert SEO implementation.
You will be tasked with conducting comprehensive keyword research to identify high-potential opportunities, meticulously analyzing competitor strategies, and then developing and executing robust on-page and off-page SEO tactics. This includes optimizing meta descriptions, title tags, header structures, and internal linking, as well as building high-quality backlinks through ethical outreach. A significant part of your role will involve performing detailed technical SEO audits, pinpointing and resolving website issues that impede search performance, such as crawl errors, broken links, and inefficient site architecture. You will ensure optimal site speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall website health, guaranteeing that search engines can effectively discover and index our clients’ content.
Collaborating closely with our content creation and web development teams will be a cornerstone of your responsibilities. You’ll provide critical SEO guidance for content planning, ensuring all new and existing content is optimized for search engines while remaining engaging and valuable to human readers. This involves shaping blog posts, landing pages, and other digital assets. Furthermore, you will continuously monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using a suite of advanced tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz. Your insightful data analysis will drive continuous optimization efforts, inform strategic recommendations, and demonstrate tangible ROI to our clients. Staying abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates (e.g., core updates, E-E-A-T principles), and industry developments will be paramount to your success, ensuring our strategies remain cutting-edge and highly effective. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a foreign professional to apply their specialized expertise within a new market context, learn the nuances of Canadian digital landscapes, and contribute significantly to a growing portfolio of diverse clients. We are deeply committed to providing a supportive environment for your professional development and smooth integration into the Canadian workforce, offering a chance to thrive both professionally and personally in Kingston, Ontario, while making a global impact. Your unique problem-solving approaches and innovative thinking, often honed through varied international experiences, will be highly valued here.
