Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily according to established standards and procedures.
- Change bed linens and make beds, replenish towels and amenities.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust all surfaces.
- Clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, and sinks.
- Remove trash and soiled linens from guest rooms.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report any damages or issues promptly to supervision.
- Ensure all guest rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and complimentary items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work cart and storage areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to clean and maintain rooms to a high standard of quality.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned rooms within specified timeframes.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures related to cleaning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Room Attendant or in a similar housekeeping role.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
