Key Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with check-in procedures, baggage handling, and boarding passes.
- Guide passengers to their respective gates and provide information on flight schedules, delays, and general airport queries.
- Handle baggage efficiently, ensuring correct tagging, loading, and offloading procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with flight crews, pilots, and other ground personnel to ensure timely aircraft departure.
- Perform safety checks and monitor aircraft cleanliness and readiness for departure/arrival.
- Operate ground support equipment safely and effectively, as required.
- Address passenger complaints and concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
- Adhere strictly to all aviation safety and security regulations and company policies.
- Prepare necessary documentation for flight operations and passenger manifests.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Physical fitness to lift and move luggage (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency for check-in systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in aviation, hospitality, or a customer service role.
- Knowledge of an additional language (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese) is an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
