Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service.
  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and assignments.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained.
  • Train new cleaning personnel on company procedures, safety protocols, and effective cleaning techniques.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure continuous operation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management regarding cleaning requirements, issues, and feedback.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Perform general cleaning duties as required to support the team and maintain standards.

Required Skills

  • Proven supervisory experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
  • Thorough knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Basic computer proficiency for scheduling and reporting tasks.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or vocational training in a relevant field.

  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
