Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of vessel arrivals, departures, and berthing activities.
- Monitor and track cargo movements, including loading, unloading, and transshipment operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound shipments, cargo documentation, and inventory levels.
- Communicate effectively with port authorities, customs officials, shipping agents, and internal teams.
- Prepare and process necessary permits, declarations, and other regulatory paperwork.
- Support the optimization of harbor space and equipment utilization.
- Participate in daily operational briefings and provide regular updates on cargo status.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Resolve minor operational issues and escalate complex problems to senior management.
- Assist with cargo inspections and damage assessment when required.
