Key Responsibilities
- Assist professional groomers with bathing, drying, and brushing dogs of various breeds and sizes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming environment, including cleaning kennels, tubs, and grooming areas.
- Safely and gently handle animals, ensuring their comfort and minimizing stress during the grooming process.
- Prepare grooming tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
- Monitor pets for any signs of discomfort, illness, or injury and report observations to the groomer.
- Provide basic client support, including greeting pet owners, assisting with check-ins/check-outs, and scheduling appointments.
- Manage salon laundry and ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding animal handling and salon operations.
Required Skills
- Genuine love and compassion for animals, especially dogs.
- Ability to safely and gently handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
