Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitise dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashers or by hand.
- Maintain a clean and organised wash-up area, ensuring all items are correctly stored and ready for use.
- Assist with the unloading and storage of deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Support the kitchen team by keeping work surfaces and floors clean and free of hazards.
- Empty and clean refuse bins, ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and hygienically.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
- Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed, under the guidance of the kitchen team.
