This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to kickstart their career in Human Resources with Career.zycto as an HR Assistant focusing on Onboarding. Based in our vibrant Pueblo, Colorado office, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and positive transition for all new hires, setting the stage for their success within our organization. You’ll be the first point of contact for many, guiding them through initial paperwork, systems access, and cultural integration. As an HR Assistant – Onboarding, you will support the HR team by managing crucial administrative tasks related to the entire new hire process. This includes preparing offer letters, coordinating background checks, scheduling orientation sessions, and ensuring all pre-employment documentation is complete and compliant. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and extend offer letters, new hire packets, and employment agreements.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks and drug screenings, ensuring timely completion.
- Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation sessions, both virtually and in-person.
- Assist new employees with completing onboarding paperwork and guide them through initial HR systems and processes.
- Ensure all new hire documentation is accurately collected, processed, and filed in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Act as the primary point of contact for new hires regarding onboarding-related questions.
- Collaborate with various departments (IT, Payroll, Managers) to ensure new hires have necessary access, equipment, and resources on their start date.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the onboarding program, suggesting enhancements to processes and materials.
- Assist with other HR administrative tasks and projects as needed.
Required Skills
