Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload freight by hand or using material handling equipment as instructed.
- Sort, scan, and stage incoming and outgoing shipments according to company procedures.
- Inspect freight for damage and accurately report any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently after proper training.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to attendance and conduct.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to showing up on time and ready to work.
