You will be responsible for managing budgets, negotiating contracts with talent and vendors, and overseeing all logistical aspects of entertainment operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute innovative entertainment programs and events in alignment with company goals and audience demographics.
  • Manage comprehensive budgets for all entertainment activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
  • Source, audition, and contract talent, performers, and external vendors, negotiating terms and ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of entertainment events, including scheduling, technical requirements, staffing, and venue setup.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of entertainment staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to continually refresh and improve entertainment offerings.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and sales departments to integrate entertainment initiatives with broader business strategies.
  • Ensure all entertainment activities comply with safety regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
  • Evaluate the success of entertainment programs through audience feedback and performance metrics, providing reports and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Maintain high standards of artistic quality and guest satisfaction across all entertainment offerings.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience in entertainment management or event production.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute creative entertainment concepts.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial oversight.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Fluent in English and French (oral and written).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with diverse entertainment formats (live music, comedy, dance, interactive experiences).
  • Familiarity with AV equipment and technical production.
  • Certification in event planning or project management.
  • Knowledge of local talent and entertainment market in Quebec.
