Key Responsibilities
- Operate refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently along designated routes in Limoilou, Quebec City.
- Collect and load various types of waste materials (residential, commercial) into collection vehicles.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues or damage.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including vehicle interior and exterior.
- Interact professionally and courteously with residents and the public.
- Assist with manual lifting and maneuvering of heavy refuse containers and items.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient route completion.
- Properly dispose of collected waste at designated facilities.
