Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive, unpack, and process incoming merchandise shipments, ensuring accuracy against invoices.
- Organize, sort, and store inventory neatly and systematically in the stockroom according to company standards.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies.
- Replenish sales floor displays and fixtures with new merchandise from the stockroom, ensuring items are correctly sized, priced, and displayed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Prepare merchandise for the sales floor, including ticketing, sensor tagging, and steaming.
- Support sales associates by quickly locating and retrieving specific items from the stockroom as requested.
- Assist with visual merchandising tasks as needed to maintain appealing store aesthetics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive customer experience.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs comfortably and safely.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods during shifts.
- Strong organizational skills and an excellent eye for detail.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for maintaining smooth operations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
