Key Responsibilities
- Safely and courteously transport passengers to their destinations within the Comox Valley and surrounding areas.
- Utilize the ride-share application efficiently for trip requests, navigation, and fare collection.
- Maintain a clean and comfortable vehicle suitable for passenger transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring passenger safety at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a pleasant and respectful experience for all passengers.
- Manage your own schedule and availability using the driver app.
- Communicate professionally with passengers regarding their journey.
- Handle unexpected situations with professionalism and composure.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license for a minimum of 2 years.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Access to a reliable, four-door vehicle (year requirement may apply, check local regulations).
- Proof of vehicle registration and insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent knowledge of local roads and navigation apps.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-service oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
