Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and check in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Efficiently schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing a multi-provider calendar.
- Answer incoming calls professionally, address patient inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
- Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility, explaining coverage details as needed.
- Process patient payments, manage billing inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain organized patient files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare patient charts, scan documents, and assist with general office administration.
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
- Collaborate with chiropractors and therapy assistants to optimize patient flow and clinic efficiency.
- Assist with inventory management of office supplies and reorder as necessary.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite, email, internet).
