This role involves the comprehensive cleaning and reconditioning of new, used, and service vehicles, preparing them for sale or customer delivery. You will perform a variety of tasks including washing, waxing, polishing, interior vacuuming, shampooing, and detailing various vehicle surfaces. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough exterior washing, waxing, and polishing of vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish.
- Conduct comprehensive interior detailing, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets/upholstery, and cleaning/conditioning all surfaces.
- Inspect vehicles for imperfections (swirls, scratches, stains) and apply appropriate treatments to rectify them.
- Clean and recondition engine compartments, wheels, tires, and wheel wells.
- Apply protective coatings and sealants to vehicle paintwork and interior surfaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines for vehicle preparation, especially during peak periods.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding vehicle status and needs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in automotive detailing or a related field (at least 6 months).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness and aesthetics.
- Knowledge of various detailing products, chemicals, and equipment.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
