Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including work surfaces, equipment, and storage.
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Receive and properly store food deliveries, ensuring correct stock rotation (FIFO).
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Dispose of waste in an appropriate and timely manner, maintaining clean waste areas.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
