Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and aspiring individual to launch their career in the music industry. As a Music Label Studio Assistant at Career.zycto, you’ll be an integral part of our Whitney Pier team, supporting the daily operations of a bustling music studio and label. This entry-level position is designed for someone with a deep passion for music, a keen interest in the technical and administrative aspects of studio work, and a strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.

You will play a crucial supporting role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our recording sessions, administrative tasks, and artist support initiatives. This isn’t just about making coffee; it’s about being on the ground floor of music creation, learning the ropes from experienced producers, engineers, and label executives. You’ll gain firsthand exposure to everything from pre-production planning and session setup to post-production logistics and general office management. Every day will bring new challenges and learning opportunities, helping you develop a comprehensive understanding of the music production lifecycle and label operations.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a proactive attitude. You’ll assist with equipment setup and breakdown, maintain studio cleanliness and organization, manage calendars, coordinate schedules, and provide essential administrative support to ensure our projects stay on track. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, as you’ll often be handling sensitive materials and ensuring the studio environment is conducive to creative work.

Beyond the technical and administrative aspects, this position offers a unique chance to connect with artists and industry professionals, observing how talent is nurtured and brought to life. While previous formal studio experience isn’t required, a demonstrable interest in audio production, music theory, or the business side of music is highly beneficial. If you’re eager to roll up your sleeves, absorb knowledge like a sponge, and contribute to a vibrant musical community in Whitney Pier, this could be your breakthrough opportunity. Career.zycto is committed to developing talent, and this role serves as an ideal stepping stone into a rewarding career in the music industry. We value dedication, a positive outlook, and a genuine love for music above all else.
