Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for the transportation of goods to various destinations within Medicine Hat and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring all vehicle components are in good working order and reporting any issues promptly.
- Accurately and safely load, unload, and secure cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, preventing damage during transit.
- Verify delivery documentation, including invoices, manifests, and schedules, ensuring accuracy before and after deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to all local traffic laws, provincial transportation regulations, and rigorous company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and detailed delivery records, adhering to all regulatory and company standards.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status, potential delays, or any issues encountered.

- Handle minor vehicle maintenance tasks as required and report any significant mechanical issues or incidents immediately to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s license with a clean driving record (abstract required upon application).
