Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Log, track, and prioritize support requests using our IT service management system, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams when necessary.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Guide users through basic problem-solving steps and provide clear, concise instructions.
  • Support Microsoft Windows operating systems, Office 365 applications, and common business software.
  • Perform routine system health checks and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Document solutions, procedures, and knowledge base articles to improve efficiency and self-service options.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with technology trends and company systems.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in IT or a related field is an asset.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and common software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and helpful demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing IT landscapes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed or pursuing a diploma/degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools or ticketing systems.
  • CompTIA A+ or other entry-level IT certifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration.
