Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with planting, pruning, weeding, watering, and fertilizing plants, shrubs, and trees.
  • Preparing garden beds and soil for new plantings.
  • Operating and maintaining basic gardening tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Monitoring plant health and identifying common pests or diseases under supervision.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of garden areas and tools.
  • Assisting with landscape design installations and garden renovations.
  • Transporting materials and equipment to various work sites within Kwale County.
  • Following instructions from senior gardeners and landscape supervisors.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Required Skills

  • Strong enthusiasm and genuine interest in gardening, horticulture, or outdoor work.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
