Job Description
Career.zycto is actively seeking a talented and driven Conversational AI Developer to join our innovative team in Shawlands, Glasgow. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual passionate about natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and creating intelligent, intuitive conversational interfaces. As a Conversational AI Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI-powered dialogue systems that enhance user engagement and streamline interactions.
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to translate complex requirements into robust and scalable AI solutions. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of conversational agents, from initial concept and prototyping to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. We are looking for someone who thrives on solving challenging problems, possesses a strong understanding of AI principles, and has a proven track record of building effective dialogue flows and integrating them with backend systems.
Your day-to-day will involve developing custom NLP models, integrating with various messaging platforms, fine-tuning bot performance, and ensuring the seamless operation of our AI solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI agents and chatbots using various platforms and frameworks.
- Implement and integrate natural language understanding (NLU) and natural language generation (NLG) components.
- Develop and maintain dialogue flows, intents, entities, and training data for conversational interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Backend) to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Integrate conversational AI systems with existing APIs, databases, and third-party services.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization of AI models and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and conversational technologies.
- Contribute to documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the development team.
- Monitor and analyze conversational data to identify areas for improvement and drive iterative enhancements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, spaCy).
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) concepts.
- Experience with conversational AI platforms (e.g., Dialogflow, Rasa, IBM Watson Assistant, Microsoft Bot Framework).
- Demonstrable experience in building and deploying chatbots or virtual assistants.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, or a related field.
