Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Extract, clean, and transform large and complex datasets from various internal and external sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships within data, generating actionable insights.
- Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental designs to evaluate the impact and performance of models and solutions.
- Communicate complex analytical findings, methodologies, and recommendations clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and business teams to integrate data science models into production systems and workflows.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, research, and best practices in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, applying relevant advancements to projects.
- Create compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards to monitor key metrics and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science processes, tools, and methodologies within the team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists or analysts, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling techniques, experimental design, and machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series).
- Expertise in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and database querying.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
- Solid foundational knowledge in mathematics, statistics, and probability theory.
