Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate access control systems, ensuring all entries and exits are properly managed and recorded.
  • Issue, activate, and deactivate access cards and credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Verify identities of individuals seeking access to the premises and authorize entry based on established protocols.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all access control activities, including logs of visitors, key card assignments, and system incidents.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to access-related inquiries, issues, and emergencies.
  • Assist with routine checks and basic maintenance of security equipment, including access control points, cameras, and intercom systems.
  • Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or system malfunctions to supervisory personnel immediately.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all company security policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all staff and visitors, answering questions and directing them as needed.
  • Operate and monitor CCTV cameras as required, documenting and reporting any unusual observations.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage and standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French (bilingualism is a significant asset).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • A proactive and positive customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security licenses or certifications as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service, administrative, or similar front-facing role.
  • Familiarity with basic security procedures or access control systems.
  • First Aid and/or CPR certification.
  • Additional language proficiency is considered an asset.
