Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead audio engineers with studio setup, calibration, and breakdown for recording sessions, live events, and broadcasts.
- Learn and apply fundamental principles of microphone placement, signal flow, and gain staging.
- Operate and monitor Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live under supervision.
- Support post-production tasks including basic editing, noise reduction, and file management.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inventory checks on audio equipment, cables, and accessories.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues with audio gear and software in a timely manner.
- Shadow senior engineers during mixing and mastering sessions to understand advanced techniques.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe studio environment.
- Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and practical skills.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion for audio, music, or sound production.
- Basic understanding of audio concepts (e.g., frequencies, waveforms, decibels).
- Familiarity with at least one major Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
- Strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.
