Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead audio engineers with studio setup, calibration, and breakdown for recording sessions, live events, and broadcasts.
  • Learn and apply fundamental principles of microphone placement, signal flow, and gain staging.
  • Operate and monitor Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live under supervision.
  • Support post-production tasks including basic editing, noise reduction, and file management.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inventory checks on audio equipment, cables, and accessories.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues with audio gear and software in a timely manner.
  • Shadow senior engineers during mixing and mastering sessions to understand advanced techniques.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe studio environment.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and practical skills.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated passion for audio, music, or sound production.
  • Basic understanding of audio concepts (e.g., frequencies, waveforms, decibels).
  • Familiarity with at least one major Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
  • Strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.
  • Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively in a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications
