Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency calls, including fires, accidents, medical emergencies, and hazardous material incidents.
- Operate and maintain firefighting apparatus, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct fire suppression activities, ventilation, search and rescue operations, and overhaul procedures.
- Provide basic life support and first aid to victims at emergency scenes.
- Participate in regular training drills and exercises to maintain and enhance firefighting skills and knowledge.
- Perform routine inspections of fire safety equipment and infrastructure.
- Engage in community outreach and fire prevention education programs.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the fire station and assigned equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and departmental policies.
- Work collaboratively as part of a highly disciplined team during high-stress situations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Firefighter I and II certification (or equivalent national certification).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Exceptional physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and respond quickly.
- Valid Mozambican driver's license with appropriate endorsements for emergency vehicles.
