Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor the performance, health, and stability of AI/ML models and underlying infrastructure.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational incidents and performance bottlenecks in AI systems.
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and other IT teams to understand model requirements and deploy solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reporting mechanisms using various tools.
- Automate routine operational tasks and develop scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely support and ensure high availability of critical AI services.
- Document operational procedures, incident reports, and best practices for AI system management.
- Assist in the deployment and scaling of new AI models and updates.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventative measures.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts and lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language for automation and data analysis.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their managed ML services.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Sagemaker).
