Career.zycto is seeking a talented and passionate Chatbot Developer to join our innovative team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and conversational AI to design, develop, and deploy intelligent chatbot solutions. In this role, you will work within an agile development framework, collaborating closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to bring cutting-edge AI-powered solutions to life. Your day-to-day will involve everything from conceptualizing new chatbot features and refining existing ones, to implementing sophisticated NLP models and integrating chatbots with various backend systems and third-party APIs. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy highly effective and user-friendly chatbot solutions using various platforms and frameworks.
- Implement and optimize Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) models to enhance chatbot comprehension and response accuracy.
- Integrate chatbots with existing enterprise systems, databases, and third-party APIs to extend their capabilities and utility.
- Collaborate with product owners and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into intuitive conversational flows and user experiences.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning of chatbot applications to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Monitor chatbot performance, analyze user interactions, and iterate on design and functionality based on feedback and data analytics.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and conversational technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
- Document technical specifications, design choices, and operational procedures for developed chatbot systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices within the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of NLP/NLU concepts and experience with relevant libraries/frameworks (e.g., Rasa, Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework, NLTK, SpaCy).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
