Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead drillers with setting up, operating, and dismantling drilling rigs and associated equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on drilling machinery.
- Handle, transport, and prepare drilling rods, casings, and other materials.
- Maintain a clean and organised work site, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored safely.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Monitor drilling operations, noting and reporting any anomalies or potential hazards.
- Support core recovery procedures and sample collection as per project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
