As a Multi Drop Delivery Driver, you will be the face of Career.zycto, responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of a diverse range of packages to customers across the Dyce and wider Aberdeen area. Your day will involve navigating established routes, managing your time effectively to meet delivery schedules, and ensuring every parcel arrives in perfect condition. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load, transport, and deliver a high volume of packages on pre-planned routes.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned delivery vehicle.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, obtaining signatures and delivering exceptional service.
- Manage delivery documentation, accurately recording deliveries and collections.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery progress, delays, or issues.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they arrive in excellent condition.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as required.
- Adapt to route changes or special delivery instructions as they arise.
Required Skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Minimum of 1 year (12 months) multi-drop delivery experience.
- Proven track record of safe driving.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights (up to 25kg).
- Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning applications.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving long-wheelbase (LWB) vans.
- Knowledge of the Dyce and wider Aberdeen geographical area.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing delivery role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
