Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for beverages, supplies, and other front-of-house necessities.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations.
  • Handle guest feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen management to ensure efficient communication and alignment between front and back-of-house operations.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain regulars.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks, such as payroll, reporting, and record-keeping, are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu, wine list, and daily specials to assist guests and team members.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume, quality restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities with a focus on development and motivation.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a guest-centric approach.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software (POS systems, reservation platforms).
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage cost control, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant hospitality management degree or certification.
  • Experience with fine dining or multiple cuisine types.
  • WSET Level 2 or equivalent wine knowledge.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and improving operational efficiency.
  • First Aid and Food Hygiene certifications.
