Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments for diverse clientele.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current hair trends, products, and techniques.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and results.
- Manage client bookings, confirmations, and follow-ups professionally.
- Uphold salon cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
- Recommend and sell hair care products to clients based on their individual needs.
- Contribute positively to the salon's team-oriented and professional atmosphere.
- Continuously develop skills through workshops, training, and self-study.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Hairdressing
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a salon environment
- Expertise in precision cutting for all hair types and lengths
- Proficiency in various colouring techniques (highlights, balayage, full colour)
- Strong styling skills for both everyday wear and special occasions
- Excellent client consultation and communication abilities
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to build and retain clientele
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Hairdressing
