Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
- Prevent losses and damages by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Act lawfully in direct defence of life or property.
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators.
- Take accurate notes, complete detailed reports, and provide evidence in court.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely and effective manner.
- Control access points, verify credentials, and manage visitor logs.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor or Security Guarding license.
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate security equipment and systems.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrable ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Previous experience working in a varied client portfolio (e.g., corporate, retail, residential).
- Customer service experience in a security-related capacity.
