This full-time role is crucial to maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our advanced manufacturing and processing facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
- Execute repairs, overhauls, and new installations of production equipment and facility systems.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, including parts used and hours logged.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with production teams to minimize machinery downtime and optimize operational flow.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts.
- Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency breakdowns and urgent repair requests.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and engineering manuals.
- Competent in the use of a wide range of hand and power tools.
- Basic understanding of PLC systems and control circuits.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and understanding of relevant regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Forklift license or other relevant industrial equipment certifications.
- Welding or fabrication experience.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
