Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders from designated locations within the warehouse.
- Scan and record items picked using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of all picked items, reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required, strictly adhering to safe lifting practices and manual handling guidelines.
- Adhere diligently to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work area, contributing to an overall efficient and safe warehouse environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily picking targets and operational goals.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., manual pallet trucks) after receiving appropriate training and certification.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and general warehouse duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and meticulously.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages up to 20kg (with assistance for heavier items).
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to understand order sheets and count stock.
