Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and specific requirements for domestic and international trips.
- Design and propose tailored travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, tours, and activities.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel restrictions, visa requirements, and cultural nuances.
- Research and recommend competitive travel packages and exclusive deals to clients.
- Accurately book and confirm all travel arrangements using various global distribution systems (GDS) and online booking platforms.
- Manage client inquiries, modifications, and cancellations efficiently and professionally.
- Process payments, issue tickets, and provide all necessary travel documentation.
- Maintain detailed client records and track all communications and bookings in the CRM system.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new destinations, travel regulations, and supplier offerings.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after their travel, ensuring a seamless experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar travel-related role.
- Proven proficiency in using GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and online booking platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of various travel destinations, airlines, hotels, and tour operators.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a client-centric approach.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
