Key Responsibilities
- Conduct discreet surveillance within retail environments to identify and apprehend individuals involved in theft or fraudulent activities.
- Monitor CCTV systems and other security equipment to detect suspicious behavior and potential security breaches.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, maintaining accurate records of observations, actions taken, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with store management and law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing evidence and support during investigations.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and legal guidelines pertaining to apprehensions and asset protection.
- Educate store employees on loss prevention techniques and security awareness best practices.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure shopping experience for customers and a secure working environment for employees.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance investigative skills and stay updated on evolving security threats.
